Who has never dreamed of something unspeakable? A desire that defies words, capable of eliciting a clandestine sigh. It was just before harvest time, one summer when I was 15. With difficulty, balancing on our bicycles, we rode along the paths. Following her, I admired her long blond curls that danced down to her back. Exhausted, we dropped our bicycles and I took her hand, sliding through the cornfields. Lying on the warm earth, with her head resting on my shoulder, I watched her closed eyelids, and from her full lips a clandestine sigh suddenly emerged.
