INSPIRATION
The beautiful Ottoman spy laughed at the sight of the small crystal perfume bottle created especially for her. It depicted a flamboyantly adorned elephant, a clear allusion to the verses of Valmiki, the poet of the Ramayana. Everyone, in fact, believed her to be an Indian princess. Spiritual and polyglot, Kismet maintained a veil of mystery about her origins. After having reigned for some time over the Parisian evenings of the Roaring Twenties, one day she disappeared, never to reappear. All that remained was the memory of her inebriating trail, of that perfume that Lubin had created for her.
